We want to start this little blog post off by saying hello again! It has been a few months since we have written in our blog, and we can say that we have truly missed you guys! We are planning on writing in here quite a bit more often and sharing all the wonderful things going on in our life! Which we have a lot to share, but stay tuned for those posts! In the meantime, we just want to touch on the season we are going through and to remind you that you have got the winter season ahead!
As we go into the darkest days of the season, it can be very much like drowning, feeling stuck, and confusing to say the least. It is the time we stare ourselves right in the face and truly understand what is going on within, which can be terrifying.
I challenge you to use this time to truly heal, rise above, and sort through all of the debris of your soul. It can truly be an illuminating time where we can shine our own light on our lives and come out better than ever. Winter is the time to rest, so give yourself permission to do just that and treat yourself with love, nurture, and respect. You got this!

Things that help us during the winter season, to illuminate our brains and remind us of the beauty of our lives is to have a groovy, bright music playlist going most of the time. We are very lucky to live in Utah where if you drive a couple hours south, you are in the desert and can enjoy the beauty of the sun, canyons, desert, and warmer air. Driving south during the winter for a weekend or two definitely keeps our spirits high and reminds us that we are not totally stuck with the darkness all around. Soaking up the vitamin D in the winter can be so beneficial as well. Even though it may not be so warm outside, as long as the sun is shining bright we can absorb the sun's rays which can help our mental stability so much. Lastly, moving our body's, meditation, and singing are soooo great to uplift the spirit and refocus our energy!
These are all things that have helped us tremendously! We would love to hear your tricks of getting through the winter and what helps you. Love you and all! And we will talk soon.
